I WANT TO HELP

We’re in Your Corner

Links for Life members are angels of mercy to hundreds of individuals fighting their personal battle with breast cancer. Many of us are breast cancer survivors, and know what it is to face the fears, physical challenges and discomfort of a disease that affects so many.

For many uninsured and underinsured patients in our community, Links for Life Kings County may be their only hope for bridging the financial gap for early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

According to the NCI, (National Cancer Institute) the risk of a breast cancer diagnosis in a female in the United States within the next 10 years is one in 68 for those aged 40 years. In our lifetime, most of us will know someone dealing with breast cancer, or face this challenge ourselves.

Link Yourself, and a Friend, to a Mammogram!

This wristband, or as we like to call it, wristlink, is a reminder to you and your friends to get a mammogram. Wear the wristlink until you schedule your mammorgram, then pass it to a friend for her to wear until she makes her appointment. Keep the chain going and you become links for life. To get a wristlink, just call 559 362-3731, or email linksforlifekingscounty@gmail.com
